Merry Creek

Near Nite's old place was a strip of green forest. Through the forest runs a stream called Merry Creek. No there is no crocodile and you can't swim in it unless you are a duck. It is fairly shallow. Regardless I wish we have a creek near our place too. All I have is a Platypus Sanctuary with no Platypus. At least I haven't seen it. It felt pretty surreal walking around this little forest and I can imagine it makes a very good meditation spot. It also reminded me of the little creek that runs through the family durian plantation.

We bath there after a durian feast. Now I think about it, it was pretty overboard to bath after eating durian but we were kids. Any reason to play with water is a good reason.

The creek is well preserve too as the wild life that feeds from it hasn't turn into Godzilla. I was also impressed with the very DLSR snapshot I took with just my 3G iPhone. Looks like it still has some redeeming qualities after all despite being retired as an alarm clock now.

I miss durian feasts....
